The Ordinary Vegan - Fry's Vegan Food/Booths Partnership News

Fry's food is a range of mock meat products such as burgers, sausages, nuggets, pies and pastries which are all vegan-friendly and taste lovely. Their range is available in Holland and Barratt stores and local health food shops, and it is now available in Booths stores across the northwest of the country, making it easier to get hold of and therefore this week's TOV.

Fry's make three types of burgers including a chicken-style burger; hot dog sausages and breakfast sausages, a range of pies and chicken-style strips, beef style strips and mince for use in vegan recipes.

The new partnership with Booths is big news for the family company and Lisa Drummy, the Director of Distribution has shared her feelings on the new partnership:

Lisa shared her excitement by stating, “I have been selling the Fry’s Family Foods brand all over the UK with my father for more than a decade and it is such a thrill to announce a partnership with a grocery group as respected and loved as Booths. Two family-owned and operated businesses coming together is a wonderful thing. We couldn’t be happier with this agreement.”

Lisa continued. “Our food is all about giving families healthy alternatives to meat. I love knowing that our products are going to be enjoyed by families across Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Cheshire and Greater Manchester. This deal with Booths means looking for quality, environmentally friendly vegetarian and vegan food is hassle-free for shoppers in the Northwest. Booths share a lot of our core principles. I feel it is a perfect match.”

Fry’s Family Food products can be found in the freezer of all 29 Booths stores. Products stocked by the supermarket chain include Meat Free Nuggets, Chicken-style Strips, Pepper Steak-style Pies and Sausage Rolls.

All Fry’s Family Foods products are available half-price until May 20, 2014 as a very special introductory promotion at Booths.
